Its that time of year again as I'm sure you are all more than aware of.

First of all I would like to thank everyone old and new for your continued custom with us at redIT over the last year. It does not matter if you have been with us a few days or right from the start we like to think that you are all part of the same redIT family no matter where you are in the world.

Now on to the business side of things...

... as with every year we will be implementing a network and system lock-down. For those that don't know what this is I will give you a basic outline now.

During the course of the year we are constantly updating and improving both our software and hardware platforms so that you get the best possible service from us. During a period of time when we are not as fully manned as normal we stop all this normal routine maintenance and will only carry out emergency works. So for example if there are software updates release for our versions of PHP during the lock-down they will not be installed until the lock-down is lifted. However, if one of our servers starts having an issue like a hard drive failure we will asses the situation and if needed we will take the corrective action to resolve the problem.

The network lock-down will start on Monday 17th December 2018 at 1200hrs GMT and complete on Monday 7th January 2019 at 1200hrs GMT

Also over the festive period we close our teams down on Friday 21st December 2018 at 2000hrs GMT until 0800hrs Wednesday 2nd January 2019 again as with each year we will have a system in place where support tickets will be checked but this will only be on a very reduced schedule.

If you have any questions about this please contact us directly and we will be happy to help.

For now if we don't talk to you between now and Christmas or the New Year we wish you all the best and look forward to continuing to work with you in 2019.
